Heaven is a temporary place for the saints who die prior to the rapture and for the wedding banquet after the rapture and prior to returning to the earth to rule and reign with Christ for 1000 years.
Hell is currently a temporary place to keep Satan and the fallen angels and all who did not go to heaven until the end of the 1000-year reign with Christ on the earth. Hell is a place of darkness. Then Satan is released alone onto the earth to deceive the Nations once again. Satan will shortly be bound with chains and cast into the Lake of Fire along with the fallen angels and hell itself.
A judgment for those who went into the second resurrection.
2 Peter 2:4 For if God did not spare angels when they sinned, but sent them to hell, putting them in chains of darkness to be held for judgment; if he did not spare the ancient world when he brought the flood on its ungodly people, but protected Noah, a preacher of righteousness, and seven others
Jude 1:6 And the angels who did not keep their positions of authority but abandoned their proper dwelling—these he has kept in darkness, bound with everlasting chains for judgment on the great Day.
2 Peter 2:9 if this is so, then the Lord knows how to rescue the godly from trials and to hold the unrighteous for punishment on the day of judgment.
2 Peter 3:7 By the same word the present heavens and earth are reserved for fire, being kept for the day of judgment and destruction of the ungodly.
Revelation 20:11 Then I saw a great white throne and him who was seated on it. Earth and sky fled from his presence, and there was no place for them. And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Another book was opened, which is the book of life. The dead were judged according to what they had done as recorded in the books. The sea gave up the dead that were in it, and death and Hades(hell) gave up the dead that were in them, and each person was judged according to what he had done. Then death and Hades (hell) were thrown into the lake of fire. The lake of fire is the second death. If anyone's name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire
You will make it if Your name is found in the “Lambs Book of Life”.
Revelation 20:10 And the Devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.
1 Timothy 3:6 He must not be a recent convert, or he may become conceited and fall under the same judgment as the devil.
Hebrews 10:27 Let us hold unnervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful. And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and even more as you see the Day approaching. If we deliberately keep on sinning after we have received the knowledge of the truth, no sacrifice for sins is left, but only a fearful expectation of judgment and of raging fire that will consume the enemies of God.
Acts 24:15 and I have the same hope in God as these men themselves have, that there will be a resurrection of both the righteous and the wicked.
A Judgment for those who went into the first resurrection avoiding the second death.
Luke 14:14 And you will be blessed although they cannot repay you, you will be repaid at the resurrection of the righteous.
2 Corinthians 5:10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each of us may receive what is due us for the things done while in the body, whether good or bad.
The resurrection of the righteous is a repayment for good works done while in the flesh. No chance for the second death. This resurection it is all about rewards even if there are none.
John 5:22 Very truly I tell you, a time is coming and has now come when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God and those who hear will live. For as the Father has life in himself, so he has granted the Son also to have life in himself. And he has given him authority to judge because he is the Son of Man. “Do not be amazed at this, for a time is coming when all who are in their graves will hear his voice and come out—those who have done what is good will rise to live, and those who have done what is evil will rise to be condemned. By myself I can do nothing; I judge only as I hear, and my judgment is just, for I seek not to please myself but him who sent me.
Here is the description of the rapture calling forth the dead, however not all the dead. Some will be left for another resurrection and another judgment.
Hebrews 9:27 Just as people are destined to die once, and after that to face judgment, so Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many; and he will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him.
James 2:13 Speak and act as those who are going to be judged by the law that gives freedom, because judgment without mercy will be shown to anyone who has not been merciful. Mercy triumphs over judgment.
Again, the deciding factor is those who are waiting for Him. Looking for His coming. There is no way to reach the mercy seat of Christ if you yourself are not merciful to others. You are condemned by your own unwillingness to extend the mercy God Himself has extended to you.
Revelation 20:4 I saw thrones on which were seated those who had been given authority to judge. And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony for Jesus and because of the word of God. They had not worshiped the beast or his image and had not received his mark on their foreheads or their hands. They came to life and reigned with Christ a thousand years. (The rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were ended.) This is the first resurrection. Blessed and holy are those who have part in the first resurrection. The second death has no power over them, but they will be priests of God and of Christ and will reign with him for a thousand years.
1 Peter 4:17 Dear friends, do not be surprised at the fiery ordeal that has come on you to test you, as though something strange were happening to you. But rejoice since you participate in the sufferings of Christ, so that you may be overjoyed when his glory is revealed. If you are insulted because of the name of Christ, you are blessed, for the Spirit of glory and of God rests on you. If you suffer, it should not be as a murderer or thief or any other kind of criminal, or even as a meddler. However, if you suffer as a Christian, do not be ashamed, but praise God that you bear that name. For it is time for judgment to begin with God’s household; and if it begins with us, what will the outcome be for those who do not obey the gospel of God?
1 John 4:17 This is how love is made complete among us so that we will have confidence on the day of judgment:
John 5:22 Moreover, the Father judges no one, but has entrusted all judgment to the Son, that all may honor the Son just as they honor the Father. Whoever does not honor the Son does not honor the Father, who sent him. Very truly I tell you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be judged but has crossed over from death to life.
Do not fear!! You can accept God's gift of salvation and know Him now. It begins with a prayer of accepting Jesus Christ as your Savior. You will avoid the Great White Throne judgment and the second death. Guaranteed!!

Galatians 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit
Look and compare it to the parable of the ten virgins.
John 10:27 The Jews who were there gathered around him, saying, “How long will you keep us in suspense? If you are the Messiah, tell us plainly. Jesus answered, “I did tell you, but you do not believe. The works I do in my Father’s name testify about me, but you do not believe because you are not my sheep. My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand. My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all. What my Father has given me is greater than all no one can snatch them out of my Father’s hand. I and the Father are one.”
Mathew 25:1-12 At that time, the Kingdom of Heaven will be like ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom. Five of them were foolish and five of them were wise. The foolish ones took their lamps but did not take any oil with them. The wise ones, however took oil in jars along with their lamps. The bridegroom was a long time in coming. And all became drowsy and fell asleep. At midnight, the cry rang out: Here's the Bridegroom! Come out to meet him! Then all the virgins woke up and trimmed their lamps. The foolish ones said to the wise, 'Give us some of your oil; our lamps are going out.' “'No, they replied, ‘there may not be enough for both us and you. Instead go to those who sell oil and buy some for yourselves.' But while they were on their way to buy oil, the bridegroom arrived. The virgins who were ready went in with him to the wedding banquet. And the door was shut. Later the others also came. Lord Lord they said open the door for us! But he replied Truly I tell you I don't know you. Therefore, keep watch, because you do not know the day or the hour.
John 10:27 the sheep were listening and following.
Mathew 25:1-12 the foolish virgins did not listen to the bridegroom. They must have been directed to be prepared with extra oil but would not bother to purchase any. They tried to get oil from others who wisely did not let them take what was at that time lifesaving. The wise virgins and listening sheep were both told that the bridegroom knows them. The foolish missed their own wedding.
